When I walked the entire Tube network in 2008, one of my aims during the project was to document my walk extensively. I wanted to create a website of my experience, which can be seen on my Tubewalker site, but I also wanted to explore what could be done with mobile technology, in particular the recently launched iPhone. In the event, not only did Tubewalker lend itself perfectly to an iPhone app, but it also proved a perfect vehicle for Android and iPad apps as well.
My Tubewalker app is available as a free download for iPhone, iPad and Android, so if you really want to see what I'm capable of in the mobile arena, your best bet is to download it and have a play. I am proud to say that I have yet to have an iOS app rejected by Apple; I have submitted 18 versions of my iOS apps for their consideration, and all have gone through the Apple QA system without a hitch.
